Castors with a heavy pressed steel castor bracket, fitted with a elastic rubber on cast iron Cored wheel.

These Braked swivel casters range from 125mm-250mm and have a capacity up to 700 Kg per caster. Elasticated rubber on cast iron tread castor wheels have higher capacity than standard rubber and are very strong. These castors do not mark floors and unlike traditional virgin rubber will not develop flats if left unattended for short period.

The load carrying capability of this rubber material is much higher than normal rubber.
They have a softer tread useful for towing equipment and offer good all round performance.
They are quite running offer great rolling resistance when compared to traditional rubber tyred castors they are also unlikely to damage or mark floors. Very important to remember this is a premium rubber not to be confused with other lower grade alternatives which make claim to similar loads and rolling resistances which are incorrect. The unique strong braked castor design allows what would otherwise have been made using fabricated steel to be achieved using pressed steel. Our heavy duty steel castor brackets become lighter more ridged and less susceptible to long term fatigue which often happens when using fabricated assemblies.
